My Perspective
Sometimes I have found that stressful life situations, such as loss, personal transitions, depression, difficult relationships and trauma, can lead sometimes to emotional distress and pain, as well as physical health related symptoms. On the other hand, I believe that we have the will and ability for renewal and change to transform our thoughts, feelings, habits, and symptomatic behaviors that are keeping from living to our full potential. Occasionally, however, we need help in fully understanding the dimensions and actively addressing our own capacity for change and growth.
Counseling therapy can assist in offering people with the appropriate tools and skills they can use to take control of many of these circumstances and challenges that stand in the way of leading a more rewarding, happy, and fulfilling life.
